It's been a remarkable 11 years since the formation of the Quarrymen.   Check out these two photos.  Paul is wearing the same shirt he wore with the Quarrymen, 11 years prior!  He had to know that because the second photo is the last photo shoot they did. 

The Rubber Soul cover was the result of the photographer elongating their faces by accident.  The four liked the tired, worn torn photo indicating four exhausting years of touring.

Probably the very first time George played with John and Paul.  The age difference is stunning.  George is 14, Paul is 15 and John 18 going on 24

From the very last photo shoot on August 22, 1969.  This shoot took place at John's estate, Tittenhurst Park, which he bought with Yoko on May 4, 1969.  The 72 acre estate is on London Road in Sunningdale, Ascot, England and cost 145,000 pounds.  It's about 15 miles west of London.  They bought it from Peter Cadbury of chocolate fame.
